  • Year 6 Bikeability

Many of our Year 6 children took part in their Level 1 and Level 2 Cycle Training at the beginning of March. The instructors worked with the children both in the playground and out on the local roads, helping to build their confidence and teaching them how to stay safe on their bikes while out cycling. The children were also awarded certificates and received them at a whole school assembly . Well done to all of the children who took part.

  • World Book Day

On Thurs,ay 7th March 2019 we also celebrated World Book Day. Every year we are amazed at the number of children and staff who participate and this year was no exception. There were so many creative and marvellous costumes it was really hard to choose winners. A boy and girl from each year group were awarded a book prize presented by Miss Smith in assembly. Congratulations to them and to all the children and parents who designed and made such fabulous outfits. Thank you also to all the staff who always make such a united effort to get into the sprit of the day.

  • KS2 Ash Wednesday Service

On Ash Wednesday the children in KS2 attended Mass. The children received the Ashes and it was really striking to see the children and staff going about their normal business at school all day bearing this powerful sign on their foreheads.
