In the Early Years Foundation Stage

77% of pupils achieved what is termed a good level of development.

 

In the Year 1 phonics test

73% of pupils achieved the expected standard.

 

In 2016 there were new progress and attainment measures at key stages 1 and 2.

In Year 2:

86% of children achieved the expected level or above in reading

21% achieved greater depth

 

86% of children achieved the expected level or above in writing

14% achieved greater depth

 

83% of children achieved the expected level or above in maths

28% achieved greater depth

96% of children achieved the expected level or above in science

 

In Year 6:

Reading:

77% of our children achieved the expected level or above

23% achieved greater depth

The national scaled score was 102.6 but the average scaled score at Holy Cross was 104.8

 

Writing:

80% of our children achieved the expected level or above

13% achieved greater depth

 

Maths:

73% of our children achieved the expected level or above

27% achieved greater depth

The national scaled score was 103 but the average scaled score at Holy Cross was 105.4

 

English grammar, punctuation and spelling:

87% of our children achieved the expected level or above

37% achieved greater depth.

Science:

90% of our children achieved the expected level or above
