The STARS Accreditation (Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe) accreditation programme is awarded to London’s nurseries, schools and colleges who promote safe and more active travel behaviour.

Sustainable and active travel includes:

Promoting Walking, Cycling, Scooting and the of public transport and the skills to travel safely. STARS rewards schools with active school travel plans at Gold, Silver or Bronze levels, based on the number of initiatives delivered and change to pupil travel behaviour.

Holy Cross School is currently a Gold accredited School.


Artsmark is Arts Council England’s flagship programme to enable schools and other organisations to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their arts and cultural provision.

Artsmark is nationally recognised as demonstrating excellence in arts and cultural provision.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
