Holy Cross Catholic Primary School

About Us

About the School…

Holy Cross Catholic Primary School is a happy and successful school and has been since it very first opened its doors on 13th January 1975.

The School was built to serve the children of Holy Cross Parish. The acquisition of land and building of the School followed a long fundraising campaign by Father Edward Fagan, Parish Priest of Holy Cross Church at that time.

The first Headteacher of Holy Cross was Miss Sheila Dunn. Miss Dunn began many traditions at Holy Cross which are still enjoyed today, one example being Lenten Breakfast.

Our connection with Holy Cross Parish is a continuous strength to our School. Our children understand that they are part of a kind and loving community and enjoy regular visits from our Parish Priest, Father Antony Megalan Sellam.

Our School is a happy place where children are nurtured and love. They are taught the essentials of primary education and so much more within a caring, Catholic environment.
