PSHE and RSE
PSHE stands for Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education. Within this subject area children learn about themselves, other people, rights and responsibilities. It is an essential area of learning for children in 21st century Britain, as it helps children to be safe, healthy and prepared for life’s opportunities.
From September 2021 it is compulsory for primary schools in England to also teach Relationships and Sex Education (RSE). As a Catholic school we are following the guidance of the Catholic Education Service and using the TenTen programme recommended by our Diocese.
