PSHE and RSE
PSHE stands for Personal, Social, Health Education. Within this subject area children learn about themselves, other people, rights and responsibilities. It is an essential area of learning for children in 21st century Britain.
From September 2021 it will be compulsory for primary schools in England to also teach Relationships and Sex Education (RSE). As a Catholic school we are following the guidance of the Catholic Education Service and using the TenTen programme recommended by our Diocese.
The new RSE policy is open to public consultation between Monday 22 February and Monday 15 March. We welcome comments from stakeholders and the Governing Body of Aspire London will take them all into consideration when they meet to discuss the final policy. Please send all comments to firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing to the School Office.
