Year 6 Djembe
During the Spring Term our Year 6 children have been learning to play the djembe drums with a tutor from Lewisham Music. The djembe is a traditional drum from Africa and is an important and wonderful sounding percussion instrument. During the sessions the children are learning different ways of playing the drum, while listening to and learning the beat. What an amazing sound!
